This two-year long program for 6-8 people will help participants cultivate themselves as agents of transmission of cultural transformation through healing. We will support you in monthly meetings to design and teach your own course, based in Tao of Trauma principles – and following your passions, interests, and your community’s needs. The class is designed to cultivate embodied experiences of kinship, and build capacity to embody and share Tao of Trauma spirit, values, and content.

I come to this project thinking about the importance of cultivating the vibration of the Tao of Trauma even after I am done teaching it. No one will teach what we all know now as the Tao of Trauma — it arises out of my particular life experience.

Tracey Post will be my co-facilitator. Tracey is an LCSW, a Somatic Experiencing as well as an EMDR Practitioner, and Tao of Trauma graduate and Clinical Assistant.

Over her Tao of Trauma training, she has expanded her practice to integrate therapeutic touch and loves it!

Tracey has taught in the fields of trauma, human relationships, and human sexuality for over 20 years on the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education levels. She has helped trainers and educators integrate their unique expertise with best practices in adult education assisting in the creation of multiple curricula for universities and for profit and non-profit agencies.

Tracey is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant. More on Tracey HERE.

Program Requirements

·      Design and teach your own course, based in Tao of Trauma principles – and following your passions, interests, and your community’s needs. The structure for your class is flexible based on what you are teaching and how it can best be presented. A key element will be the development of an outline and an evaluation tool that provides the info you need to teach a second time. You will be responsible for recruiting students and managing all logistics. While we have a preference for in-person, in your local area, we understand that some of you may choose to use Zoom. 25% of class fees for you, 25% for Integrative Healing; 25% for Alaine, 25% for Tracey, after expenses (space rental, our travel, etc).

·      Participate in a 2-hour long monthly Teacher Certification Group on Zoom in which there will be regular assignments helping you to design your class. We will also discuss issues that arise in the monthly community support groups that you will be facilitating. Our first class will be 3 hours long, and will occur on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm ET. The remaining classes will be 2 hours long.

·      Facilitate a monthly ToT on-line community support group. The goal is to cultivate embodied experiences of relationship in the ToT community. You may offer case consults, facilitate group practice sessions, or support people to process their learning experience. Participants will pay a fee of $40 directly to you for a 90-minute zoom-based group. Integrative Healing will provide you with a list of graduates and current students to draw from who have expressed interest in such a group and who live in your time zone/area. You will receive support for this role in our regular group sessions.

·      Attend 3 or more Tao of Trauma Enrichment Classes per year. We realize with so many participants living at some distance from the mid-Atlantic or Southern California that we need to be creative about enrichment classes that are either hybrid or on Zoom (more to come on those). Registration fees (and discounts) will apply.

·      Attend a minimum of 6 monthly Zoom-based Clinical Consultation Groups. These groups for the ToT community are opportunities to discuss clients or ToT concepts. Registration fees (and discounts) will apply.

At the conclusion of this period, you will meet with Tracey and Alaine to review your potential for ToT teacher certification.

Program Fee

$3,000 per year for 2 years

25% off for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and First-Generation Immigrants

Individual consults available from Tracey or Alaine at a rate of $150 per hour.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to class will be issued a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds thereafter.
