Cultivate yourself as an agent of transmission of cultural transformation through healing in the Tao of Trauma model

This two-year long program for 4-6 people will help participants cultivate themselves as agents of transmission of cultural transformation through healing. We will support you in bi-monthly meetings to design and teach your own course, based in Tao of Trauma principles – and following your passions, interests, and your community’s needs. The class is designed to cultivate embodied experiences of kinship, and build capacity to embody and share Tao of Trauma spirit, values, and content.
I come to this project thinking about the importance of cultivating the vibration of the Tao of Trauma even after I am done teaching it. No one will teach what we all know now as the Tao of Trauma — it arises out of my particular life experience. And you will make it your own, expanding the reach and wisdom to your community(ies). That is so exciting for me.
Is there something in YOUR life experience that is aligned with the mission and values of The Tao of Trauma that wants to be shared? I’d like to help you do precisely that! Our world wants that too.
Tracey Post will be my co-facilitator. She and I are currently co-teaching the core Tao of Trauma training. Tracey is an LCSW, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner as well as an EMDR Practitioner, and Tao of Trauma graduate and Clinical Assistant.
Tracey has taught in the fields of trauma, human relationships, and human sexuality for over 20 years on the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education levels. She has helped trainers and educators integrate their unique expertise with best practices in adult education assisting in the creation of multiple curricula for universities and for profit and non-profit agencies. She’s a gem. More on Tracey HERE.

Program Requirements
· Design and teach your own course, based in Tao of Trauma principles – and following your passions, interests, and your community’s needs. The structure for your class is flexible based on what you are teaching and how it can best be presented. A key element will be the development of an outline and an evaluation tool that provides the info you need to teach a second time. You will be responsible for recruiting students and managing all logistics. While we have a preference for in-person, in your local area, we understand that some of you may choose to use Zoom.
You will receive 25% of class income; 25% will go to Integrative Healing; 25% for Alaine, 25% for Tracey, after expenses (space rental, our travel, etc).
· Participate in a 2-hour long bi-monthly Teacher Certification Group on Zoom in which there will be regular assignments, including opportunities to teach core principles to our group, helping you to design your class.
· Complete assignments between sessions and teach one segment of ToT Foundational Elements at one of the sessions.
· Attend a minimum of 6 monthly Zoom-based Clinical Consultation Groups. These groups for the ToT community are opportunities to discuss clients or ToT concepts. Registration fees (and discounts) will apply.
At the conclusion of this period, you will meet with Tracey and Alaine to review your potential for ToT teacher certification.
